Each location will be situated amongst the people of the country and not amongst other tourists. A key part of this immersive retreat is to also learn to communicate with other cultures in different languages and all guests will be equipped with translation software so that the language barriers are lessened. A community service project will be a part of each retreat in order to offer each guest the opportunity to interact with locals in a meaningful way.

Historians believe that Chichen Itza was founded and rose to prominence due to its close proximity to the Xtoloc cenote, an underground source of fresh water.
